For many, North Myrtle Beach and Main Street in particular is the center of the shagging and beach music community.

But despite all the amazing shag clubs and SOS events held right here at home, there are also quite a few other shag events held outside the area and Pirate's Cove is proud to be part of one of these, the Fall Cyclone, held Nov. 1-3, 2013, in Mooresville, N.C.

The Cyclone, a four-time winner of the CBMAs "Event of the Year" award, is held at the old skating rink in Mooresville and features a weekend full of great music, dancing, food and fun.

The event is known for "bringing the best of the beach inland" with a dozen DJs, live music performances, shag workshops and much more.

Sunday morning, Pirate's Cove's own Milford and John Powell and their crew will be a big part of the event as they whip together an awesome breakfast featuring their famous Shrimp & Grits for all attendees of the event.

Check out the video below to hear the guys talking about their summer and plugging their cooking skills to promo the Fall Cyclone. For tickets or more details on the event visit
